Luna Moth Cloak
I made a Luna Moth inspired cloak for my final CRT 101 project. The cloak is whimsical and has two eyespots that blink every three seconds once plugged in. The eyes are NeoPixel matricies and the Arduino that controls them is in a pouch at the back of the hood.

My user testing concluded that the cloak was too heavy at the back, though the weight was at a good place at the back of the neck. Asthetically, my users though the cloak was super cute and they loved the details of the gold clasp on the front as well as the overall feel of the cloak even if it was a little messy on some of the seams. They liked how simple the functionality is with the automatic blinking and how easy it is to move around in. On a scale of 1-5, the average was 4 for how reminiscent the design was of the moth itself, and how intuitive the use was. Finally, I asked for any feedback that the users were willing to give. The most common answers were asking for straps on the ends of the wings to make stretching them out easier, adding a headband or other accessory with antennae and fixing the weight. Other feedback consisted of comments on the fabric choice, the overall design and the impracticality for everyday wear, but fun choice as a costume piece.
